I have always loved photography, but just to look at. However, my life in France, where I lived full-time for 12 years, encouraged me to pursue photography for my own interest and passion.
How an image of something quite ordinary can become something extraordinary, through the quality of light, texture and reflection remains endlessly fascinating.
This is why for me, photography is always such an adventure and such a joy.

​The name Mihi is a Maori word meaning "thank you". With this in mind, I renamed my website as a tribute to my late husband, Mike, a wonderfully kind and loving man, himself so gifted, and who was always so supportive.
